Batoal is first seen competing as the favorite to win in the tournament in Piena, reaching the semifinals against Quato Gain. Their fight is interrupted by Adlet who fights both of them, which results in Batoal getting knocked out and his right shoulder being injured. A rematch is held which Quato wins because Batoal's injury had not yet healed.
